IN LATAVA, when the oft-fired Walt (Shameik Moore) takes over his bartending position and kicks off his shoes at his local bowling alley, AlleyCatz, he feels like he's finally found a home. When the AlleyCatz are threatened by money problems, Walt is pressured by ex-bowler and current drinker Skunk (D'Arcy Cardenas) to accept his role as the greatest bowler ever to grace this earth. While the pro tour is dominated by Walt's love of big checks and in-your-face style of play, his detractors, including ratings-obsessed news anchor Angelo Powers and retired bowling legend Linda "The Crusher" Curson (Susan).
