Paul King, the director of the previous two films, has decided not to direct this installment
Scenario
Paddington returns to Peru to visit his beloved Aunt Lucy, who now resides in the Bears' Retirement Home. With the Brown family in tow, a thrilling adventure ensues when a mystery pulls them on an unexpected journey..
Paddington in Peru is a great, fun movie, but it's the weakest of the 3 Paddington movies
However, he came up with the idea for this third film and joined as an executive producer.. Follows Paddington (2014).
But I still had a good time watching this one
It looks great on the big screen, the scenery and locations are beautiful and the CGI on the bears is excellent. The acting and story are good, nothing revolutionary or better than the previous two films, but the charm of those two is missing from this third film.
It has some funny moments and is a fun family film
If the charm was there it would have worked and it was a bit silly at times. Overall, it's still a great movie to watch in the cinema.
