In the first episode, for instance, she obtains a document from a locked safe in the suspect-victim's law office that would never be admissible in court—illegally obtained evidence
Scenario
Despite her sky-high IQ, excellent memory, and deep knowledge of arcane law, Morgan makes a series of basic legal errors that anyone who has ever watched a law show on TV knows not to make. It also couldn't be used to obtain other evidence—violating the legal doctrine of "fruit of the poisonous tree." In episode 2, she has to be reminded to wear gloves before handling evidence at a crime scene, and in issue #3, she removes all documented evidence from the police station, completely breaking the chain of custody and rendering whatever she removed inadmissible in court .
Okay, the show starts off well, and Kaitlin Olson gives a solid performance
HPI remake (2021). The show is a lot like the TBS show Monk, where a person with borderline Asperger's helps the police solve crimes.
In this episode, she is overly preachy and obstructs a case
Again, the show is solid so far, but not as quirky or fun to watch as Monk, but it is a joy to watch. Episode 3 is where it really goes off the rails, and I hope episode 4 really improves.
Tactics that would invalidate a case
She takes evidence from the police station, she manipulates evidence and contaminates it. ANY IMPACT?
Again, I hope that improves with episode
Zero… It’s almost embarrassing how annoying she is in this episode. She shows little to no signs of self-awareness or contrition for her actions.
