Britain allowed filming in the Foreign Secretary's office, an honor rarely bestowed on a film or film production, especially an American one
Scenario
Career diplomat Kate Wyler is thrust into a high-profile job she's ill-suited to in the midst of an international crisis, which has a tectonic impact on her marriage and her political future. The producers convinced both the American and British governments to allow them to use real-life locations as filming locations for the series, including the newly opened American embassy (at Nine Elms), which opened in 2018.

The only location unavailable for filming was Winfield House, the real-life residence of the American ambassador. Although it is accurately described as occupying the largest residential property (11 acres) in London next to Buckingham Palace, the producers used a country house outside the city for filming purposes.
As hard as it may seem to believe, this series is also “fresh” It’s truly original – it’s never been done before
Something else major happens halfway through the first episode, and the creators of this drama somehow managed to convince the people who made the trailers not to include it – or even hint at it. I’m only halfway through the second episode, but I can already tell you that this is unlike any other series or book in the spy/thriller genre.
The acting is very, very believable
It’s also somewhat refreshing because it’s not dominated by the kind of paranoia that plagues Australians and others. The writing style is clever; the action and dialogue flow seamlessly into each other.
