3-DAYS LEADERSHIP RETREAT FOR EXECUTIVE SECRETARIES, LEADERS & ADMINISTRATORS OF TRADE ASSOCIATIONS IN NIGERIA

Theme: “Empowering Executive Secretaries and Administrators for Transformational Leadership in Trade Associations”

📅 Date & Venue : Open to Registered & Invited Participants Only

💼 For: Executive Secretaries & Administrators of Trade Associations in Nigeria
💰 Participation: FREE – Retreat Sponsorship by Corporate Partners

Many trade associations in Nigeria are struggling with weak governance systems, limited administrative capacity, and outdated operational practices. Executive Secretaries who form the engine room of these organizations often lack access to the structured training needed to strengthen leadership, improve communication, drive membership engagement, and enhance revenue generation.

These gaps have resulted in fragmented operations, low sustainability, and reduced impact across associations nationwide. Without intentional capacity-building, many associations will remain unable to effectively support MSMEs, influence policy, or contribute meaningfully to Nigeria’s economic growth.

We are therefore, convening a high-level 3-Days Leadership Retreat designed to strengthen the capacity, governance, and strategic leadership of Executive Secretaries and Administrators across Nigeria’s trade associations. These individuals are the operational backbone of the nation’s business membership organizations, MSME networks, artisan councils, and sectoral groups collectively representing millions of Nigerian businesses and informal sector operators.

This retreat will bring together 100–120 key administrative leaders for intensive training on transformational leadership, institutional strengthening, digital innovation, sustainable membership development, advocacy, funding models, and strategic communication. Hosted at the serene La Campagne Tropicana Beach Resort, the retreat integrates executive workshops, peer clinics, cultural immersion, and fireside conversations to foster deep learning and national collaboration.

To ensure free participation for all delegates, ITAM seeks strategic corporate sponsors whose brands align with national development, MSME empowerment, and economic stability. Sponsorship will enable accommodation, meals, logistics, training materials, media coverage, and programme delivery at no cost to participants.

It is premium, high-impact executive retreat designed to strengthen leadership, governance, innovation, and strategic capacity for the administrative leaders of Nigeria’s trade associations.

Hosted in a serene beachfront environment, the retreat blends workshops, peer learning, digital transformation sessions, networking dinners, beach reflections, and cultural immersion; all tailored to elevate the performance of association secretariats nationwide.
